IT Intern

Location: Stafford, VA

Job Purpose 

GCubed Inc. offers a very limited internship program for highly qualified individuals. This program will give the chosen candidate the opportunity to get hands-on experience on-site at one of the government contracts we service. The program seeks a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work directly with the IT department. It will also give the chosen individual an opportunity to acquire an active security clearance, something that is crucial for work in the world of government contracting.

Working Conditions 

Primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries, as well as to potential acquires to conduct due diligence. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected. 

 

Physical Requirements 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift 35 pounds
